BBQ 3 September 2023

The sun was shining on us this year for our barbecue and outdoor service which was held on the Manor lawn and led by Rev Paul Fitzpatrick. Money raised will help towards our project to build a toilet and put a kitchen sink in the church.

Harvest Service and Supper

Our Harvest service and supper was well attended and the supper provided by members of the village was enjoyed by all. 
A draw was held with money raised from it going towards our project to install a kitchen sink and toilet for the church. We were very grateful for the wonderful prizes that were given

Archbishop of Canterbury visits Holsworthy Market  Friday 10th November 2023

The Archbishop of Canterbury The Most Reverend Justin Welby spent Remembrance weekend on a tour of Devon and on Friday 10th November  he visited the NFU Harvest Celebration service at Holsworthy Farmers Market - see page four of our December 2023 Benefice Bulletin below

Remembrance Service
Sunday 12 November 2023

It was a wet morning for our Remembrance Service held by the War Memorial in the grounds by the Church. The monument and village had already been decorated with Poppies by the Good Companions group that meet once a month and how lovely they looked.
A short service was held by the monument and wreaths laid by the PCC and Parish council. Members of the village all took part in reading the service .
